Spring is soon upon us and with life sweeping us along as it always must, the best way to start every month (I’ve now realised) is through the art of imagery!
I’ve thrown together a ‘to do’ list for March if you like. Things I want to wear, tasks that need to be completed and books that require my full attention. Ever the optimist, I’ve thrown my favourite Lennon sunglasses into the mix in the hope of some mild rays!
- Substitute colour for some monochrome. Blazer/Cardigan: River Island (new collection), Newspaper printed blouse: Very, Necklace: Vintage, Headband: 5 inch and up for Nelly.
- Gaudi Diary to conquer my hectic year. Planning will lead the way to success, or so I’m told! I always purchase my annual diary from TK Maxx. 2012 was the artist, Klimt. Perfect for doodles, dates and decisions!
- With my vintage inspired wedding only a few months away, my future family-in-law kindly picked and pressed wild flowers for DIY jar candle holders soon to be made.
- I must start reading Grace Coddington’s book. It was a Christmas present from my bf and has remained untouched
- Buttons follow me wherever I go. Time to get my sewing kit out and re-home them!
- This month’s irrational purchase goes to the Dymo Labeller. I love the retro type it produces.
- Newly designed GE Vintage business cards are to be thrown around Leeds this month at beautiful self-stylers.
- Only read the good magazines – keep away from the trash! Their nonsense clutters my mind and offends my purse!
- ‘Before Night Fall’ is a dvd I keep on my dresser. It’s been there as a reminder to watch it which hasn’t happened. This month it will.
- Lottery ticket needs checking from last month
- Wedding bunting material picked and distributed to family for mass production!
- Pastel nail colours for March: Nails Inc, Revlon, Sally Hensen.
- More of my personality is going up on my walls at home, including kind gifts from friends .
Until next time, check out Illamasqua’s new speckled egg nail polishes! My name is down for the purple one! http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/nails/nail-varnishes/nail-varnish-in-speckle
